Whether you are passing through or staying with us for a while, you can be sure of eating well. We use only finest quality locally sourced ingredients to produce a superb choice of dishes, which includes our traditional Sunday roasts

As well as great food we serve some of the best beers in Gloucestershire, showcasing local beers in particular. Here's a few we currently have behind the bar: (click on the description or badge to take you to their site)

	Coopers 3.5%. A yellow-gold, well balanced, light, refreshing brew with hops, citrus fruit and a delicate sweet maltiness, turning to a bitter dry finish.
	Butcombe Bitter 4.0% A notably bitter beer…amber in colour, clean tasting, refreshingly dry and distinctive. Made with 100% English malts together with a blend of traditional English hop varieties.
	Laurie Lee's Bitter 4.5% Named after the famous local author, the brewer describes the bitter as having a good balance of malt and hops.

Current Guest Ale.......

The famous ‘pint of Brains’ is rich amber coloured, well balanced and refreshing. Goldings and Fuggles hops from The Welsh Marches create an appetising crisp aroma to complement the subtle flavour of fine pale malt. Crystal clear water combines with the unique Brains yeast to create the complete Welsh beer experience.

ABV 3.7%
