As the snow fell and customers battled to get here, we found a bit of spare time to have some fun!?

Thank you everyone for coming to our Wild West Party. The Bucking Bronco, Saloon Bar Shootout and Campfire Grub went down very well. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Here are a few picture from the night. We wish everyone a fantastic New Year and hope we will see you in the pub!

Thank you to everyone who came down to watch the show this year, it definitely makes all the effort worth while to see so many people enjoying themselves! hope you all enjoyed watching the house of parliament burn to the ground and every bang and flash of the firework display, hope to see you all again next year!! Here are a few photos of the Building process and evening itself. These are all the photos we have managed to get hold of after our camera ended up helping the bonfire along?!! Ooops!!

Another year passed and another great evening, many thanks to all our guests, the 2 fantastic bands, Ben and Ru and Gnashville, and the late night performance from random notes. Wild Hogs Descend on The Crown!!

On the Weekend of 12th, 13th & 14th June 2009 The 1066 Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owners Group made The Crown Inn their base as they cruised round the cotswold's! We thoroughly enjoyed hosting them and would love to see them back in the future. I hope you all had a good time. To see photos of their trip click the link below...

Once again Morrismen have descended on the Crown, First were the Holt Morrismen on 15th May, and secondly The Gloucester Morrismen & Stroud Ladies visited on 19th May. Both evenings managed to stay dry for the dancing & then everyone enjoyed a bit of a sing along in the pub till late. Here are a few snap shots of the evenings.

On the Tuesday 10/2/09 ITV West came to The Crown to do live link for the 6pm news bulletin, The report was about the extreme weather and how it has effected our local community and businesses. Below some pictures of the how we dealt with the snow.
